All Aboard: Native American Heritage Month
November is designated as Native American Heritage Month. For this edition of All Aboard, we wanted to highlight our efforts to promote Indigenous land acknowledgements and share resources with you.
If you have attended an ACT International Conference or TDM Forum recently, you would likely have heard and/or seen a land acknowledgement that honors the host area's Indigenous people. As we highlighted last year, land acknowledgements recognize the Indigenous Peoples who are the original stewards of the lands on which we live and meet. We do this to increase awareness, spark conversations, and promote ongoing collaboration with Indigenous nations and communities.
You can view the land acknowledgment for ACT headquarters here as well as past land acknowledgments and additional resources here.

How could you incorporate a land acknowledgement in your work or event? We will be posting on Connect and would love to hear about your efforts that you have done or plan to do. Please share your thoughts or questions there so we can all learn from each other.
