A 2025 welcome letter from President Roz Tucker
Dear ACT members and friends,
It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I write to you as the new President of the Association for Commuter Transportation. Together, we stand at a critical moment in our industry, facing pressing challenges and boundless opportunities to lead the conversation on sustainable, efficient, and innovative mobility solutions. Our collective work continues to shape communities and lives, both locally and nationally.
First and foremost, my thoughts are with our members and friends in Southern California. The challenges you face remind us all of the importance of resilience, collaboration, and community. Please know that ACT stands with you and is here to support you during these times.
I would also like to extend a warm welcome to the new board members and the many volunteers joining ACT this year. Your willingness to step into leadership roles and contribute your time and talent to our mission is truly inspiring. ACT is what it is today because of the dedication and hard work of countless volunteers who share a commitment to advancing transportation demand management across the country. We owe so much to the many volunteers, both past and present, who paved the way with their hard work and commitment. Their contributions inspire us as we continue to work together, harnessing innovation and collaboration to create lasting change and improve lives in ways that will ripple far beyond today.
As we begin this new chapter, I want to reaffirm ACT’s dedication to maintaining national relevance by addressing the most pressing issues that impact our profession. From evolving commuter behavior to advancing policies that support equitable and sustainable transportation, ACT remains at the forefront of these critical conversations. Together, we will continue to adapt, innovate, and lead.
My vision for ACT is rooted in collaboration, excellence, and inclusivity. Whether you're a seasoned member or new to our community, your voice matters. ACT thrives because of the diversity of ideas and experiences our members bring, and I encourage you to share your perspectives, connect with fellow members, and engage in the many opportunities ACT offers.
