2025-2026 Board spotlight: Courtney Reynolds, TDM-CP

Member Spotlights,

Courtney Reynolds, TDM-CP  is the Director of Partnerships at Agile Mile, a SEACT Chapter member, and the incoming Vice President of ACT's Board of Directors. Meet Courtney and learn more about her in this December board spotlight!

Transportation has been a long-standing through-line in Courtney’s life, even before she formally entered the TDM industry. Her very first job in transportation was the role of Dispatcher, which she held before resources like Google Maps were readily available. Courtney was equipped to help with paper maps and atlases, which she considers some of her favorite things even today. Later in her career, she held positions supporting Transit Operations & Maintenance teams, serving as a Marketing Administrative Assistant, and filling many Project Management roles.

As early as the fifth grade, she understood the immense power of access to transportation options. Courtney fondly recounts feeling a sense of freedom while showing a classmate how to use “the big city bus.”

She says, "It felt like having a secret pass to a world of independence and I wasn’t about to let that go. That’s what TDM means to me: unlocking the cheat code for how your city works, how you access everything it has to offer, and never having to depend on someone else to do what you want to do and where you want to go. That’s a really powerful feeling for a child."

And continue that powerful feeling, she did! Today, Courtney is the Director of Partnerships on the Agile Mile team. This role allows her to work with TDM programs and professionals across the country. As a result, she is often lucky enough to meet those new to TDM and new to ACT's greater community.

Courtney has held many leadership roles within the association —  Professional Development Committee Co-Chair, SEACT Vice President, and Certification Board of Trustees (CBOT) member to name a few. This strong involvement earned her recognition as an Exemplary Service/Leadership awardee earlier this year at the President's Awards in Denver, Colorado.

One of her favorite ACT memories is from the 2016 International Conference in Portland. She says, "I managed to sneak away to visit a couple of bike shops to test ride cargo bikes. It was one of the first bikeshare systems I ever tried, as I used it to get from the conference site to the bike shops. It was also the first time I experienced TRAFFIC IN THE BIKE LANE and it was thrilling. I share this as a reminder that we are all so lucky to get to visit other cities as part of our ACT conference participation and I hope everyone takes the opportunity to explore!"

Courtney is extremely passionate about traffic safety, especially bicycle safety. Driven by this motivation, she serves on the Florida Bicycle Association Board of Directors. She also volunteers as a cycling instructor and group ride leader to help others discover their love of biking.

As Vice President of the Board, Courtney looks forward to advancing ACT's mission and collaborating with professionals she greatly respects. Please join us as we welcome Courtney to ACT’s 2025-2026 Board of Directors!
