TDM Week FAQs

TDM Week will be September 16-20, 2024.

The theme of this year's celebration is carbon reduction, but this topic may factor differently into different communities. ACT has prepared a list of potential sub-themes that you can consider focusing on, including:
  • State DOT Climate Reduction Plans
  • TDM must be a part of decarbonization
  • Congestion
  • Corporate sustainability
  • Efficiency

Through the deployment of TDM systems, we can create more sustainable transportation infrastructure in our communities. Now is your chance to highlight how TDM accomplishes this goal near you!

All TDM Week pledges should focus on the audience of TDM stakeholders and key decision-makers. Spreading awareness about TDM to individuals in our greater communities is a year-round mission, but this week is an opportunity to prioritize a more specific and impactful focus.
Absolutely! All interested parties are welcome and encouraged to join the TDM Week movement.
There are numerous resources available on the main TDM Week webpage. If you can't find the information you're looking for, please reach out to ACT's Marketing & Communications Manager Allison Caravella at acaravella@actweb.org.
Tag ACT in your TDM Week social media posts at Association for Commuter Transportation (LinkedIn and Facebook) or @actnational (Instagram and X). Be sure to use the #TDMWeek hashtag. At the end of the week, we'll be tallying up the total number of posts and highlighting a few of our favorites. Yours could be included!
