MICHELLE ALTHOFF AWARDED THE EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP AWARD BY ACT

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Michelle Althoff, Group Commute Manager at Commute with Enterprise, was awarded the President’s Award for Exemplary Leadership at the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) Virtual International Conference on August 5, 2020, sponsored by Luum. The Exemplary Leadership Award recognizes a member who has made significant contributions to the Association through leadership and engagement in ACT.

“As an organization that relies on volunteers to keep its many pieces moving, ACT is so lucky to have a member like Michelle,” said Connie McGee, ACT President. “Over the past two years, Michelle has never shied away from an opportunity to be involved. On the Vanpool Council, Michelle has served in a variety of roles, now serving as Vice Chair and always finding new ways to lead the group forward.”

“When she moved from the Chesapeake Chapter to the SEACT Chapter, Michelle quickly volunteered to serve as Chapter Treasurer, showing younger and newer members of ACT what a great role model she is,” said McGee. “It is a great privilege to recognize Michelle with the 2020 ACT President’s Award for Exemplary Leadership.”
