2024-2025 Board spotlight: Frank T. Mongioi Jr.
Frank T. Mongioi Jr. is the Vice President of Sustainable Mobility at ICF, a Mid-Atlantic Chapter member, and a returning member of ACT's Board of Directors. Meet Frank and learn more about him in our February board spotlight!
Over his nearly three decades in TDM and mobility programs, Frank T. Mongioi Jr. has played an active role in many aspects of the industry. His first full-time position out of college was at a Transportation Management Association in New Jersey and he's worked in the field ever since.
Currently serving as Vice President of Sustainable Mobility, Frank spearheads national TDM and mobility projects and programs for ICF. He has been with the organization for more than 17 years, serving previously as a Senior Director of Smart Mobility and helping launch Clean Air NY. Making a difference in the quality of life for others is a key motivator in his daily work, and so is climate consciousness.
"I'm passionate about the environment and our beautiful planet," says Frank. "I love the following quote: A society grows great when elders plant trees, the shade of which they know they will never sit in."
Frank joined ACT more than 25 years ago, and he has held a wide range of leadership roles throughout this time as a member. Included in this list is former Governance Chair, Mid-Atlantic Chapter President, and At-Large Director from 2015-2020 and 2022-2023. He has also served as the liaison to the TRB Committee on TDM and is a proud ACT 40 Under 40 awardee from the very first class.
After many years in the association, he is extremely motivated to help advance it and guide its future. He says, "ACT has been a family for me for more than 25 years. I deeply care about this organization, as well as my colleagues, friends, and all the members. Ultimately, I’m focused on the direction of this organization and our industry."
In his free time, you can find Frank attending live music shows or traveling. He also might be playing guitar, an interest he's had since his childhood.
Frank is especially excited to see how the association diversifies and expands over the next few years. As a returning board member, he is energized to continue leading ACT forward in line with these goals. Please join us as we welcome Frank to ACT’s 2024-2025 Board of Directors!
