As a Project Manager at Convey, you’ll use your transportation demand management (TDM) and public outreach/engagement expertise to be a driving force behind our projects, team, and deliverables. We’re a growing firm, so you’ll need to be responsible, collaborative, and move quickly yet precisely within a dynamic environment. You’ll need to be meticulously organized with strong communication skills to interact with a variety of roles, internally and externally. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth, depending on your interests and skills.


As a strategic team member of Convey, you will…
  • Manage client projects, many of which contain public outreach and stakeholder engagement campaigns that center on TDM
  • Guide team in developing innovative strategies, solutions, and materials to meet client expectations and project needs
  • Plan and manage project work scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for client and project team interactions
  • Oversee and coordinate collaboration with other team members
  • Run project meetings to keep team informed of client goals and deliverables
  • Write, develop, and analyze content to create engaging public outreach campaigns, reports, and compelling presentations
  • Work with team to plan and facilitate in-person and online events
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control measures for deliverables
  • Actively participate in marketing and business development opportunities
  • Develop and maintain client and partner relationships

You must have…
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in transportation planning, communications, and/or stakeholder engagement; 2+ years’ experience in project management
  • The ability to develop and integrate key messages into a communications program
  • Experience collaborating with and managing internal contributors and/or external vendors with capabilities such as content writing/editing, web design/development, video production, graphic design, and translation

It’d be great if you had...
  • Prior experience implementing TDM programs or in a marketing/communications/PR firm
  • Prior experience in the transportation, engineering, environmental, water resources, planning, or construction industries
  • Prior experience with marketing TDM or mobility programs to employers and/or Equity Priority Communities
  • Experience working with project/task management tools such as Teamwork or Asana
  • Familiarity working with government contracts (federal, state, and/or local)
  • Fluency in another language, such as Spanish

This is a full-time non-exempt role with an expected hourly pay range of $45.00/hour (~$93,600 annually) to $60.00/hour (~$124,800 annually). Convey offers vacation and sick leave, holidays, healthcare, 401K, and other benefits, pending eligibility. Hybrid schedule of in-office (Emeryville) and remote work currently in place. Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
