Jamila Owens, Houston-Galveston Area Council
Chapter Member of the Year
Jamila received multiple nominations from various members of the chapter. Per the nominations, she is a great Program Committee Leader and worked endlessly within the short timeline on an in-person meeting for the Chapter in 2023! She was efficient, super organized and I have never worked with a person who gives as much attention to detail as she does. Due to her leadership, our committee pulled off a successful meeting! Jamila is the standard of excellence in TDM. She brings a level of exceptionalism to everything she does.
Enterprise Mobility
Organizational Member of the Year
Enterprise Mobility was an incredibly supportive member of the Red River Chapter this year. They not only provided financial support for the revival of our Red River TDM Summit, Enterprise Mobility staff also participated as a panel presenter during the summit. They also sent multiple members to attend the summit and participated greatly in the planning through member, Alice Lee-Cook. Alice was instrumental in program planning and in securing even greater participation from her organization. Alice, and Enterprise, we appreciate you.
Capital Metro
Organizational Support Member of the Year (Existing)
Capital Metro hosted our 2023 Red River Transforming TDM Summit, provided morning and afternoon refreshments, sponsored a technical tour, and allowed their event specialist to work with the Program Committee to ensure that the event went smoothly. Capital Metro also consistently supports their staff to be actively involved as elected board members of the Red River Chapter and participate in regional and national TDM related events.
Metropia
Organizational Support Member of the Year (New)
Metropia is one of the newer members of the chapter and stepped up in a major way this year by sponsoring our Red River Summit. Not only did they provide financial support for the 2023 Red River Summit as a sponsor; they sent multiple members to attend and presented as well. They also, via Mia Zmud, provided invaluable planning help for summit, as well as on site local support when we needed it! Thank you, Metropia.
Alice Lee-Cook, Commute with Enterprise
Promoter of the Year
Alice was instrumental in program planning and in securing even greater participation for the Red River Transforming TDM Summit. Alice took the lead on promoting the event and was the point of contact for questions regarding the Summit.
