ACT's Virtual Fly-In

Join ACT for our first-ever virtual fly-in! Meet with Congressional staff to bring TDM to Capitol Hill. You'll be accompanied in every meeting by members of ACT's Government Affairs team or Public Policy leaders, so you'll have expert support every step of the way.

The fly-in will also advance our efforts to champion the Maximizing Transportation Efficiency Act - and don't worry, our team will handle the legislative details with staffers. All you need to bring is your own TDM story!

What to Know:

SCHEDULING

• You can expect about ~2-3 meetings per day. Therefore, you DO NOT need to be available for the full days – please fill out this survey with your availability and we will do our best to schedule meetings accordingly.

TRAINING SESSION

• The training session will take place on 6/12 from 1pm-2pm ET. While this is not mandatory, it is recommended – especially if this is your first time participating in a Congressional meeting.
• The training session will cover how a typical Congressional meeting will go, assist you in developing talking points, an overview of the Maximizing Transportation Efficiency Act, and time for any questions you might have.

ATTENDING MEETINGS & ZOOM LINKS

• Please note that the zoom link included in the event calendar hold is a general meeting room – no Congressional meetings will take place here. If you have questions throughout the day, we will be monitoring this room and you can join it for support.
• Each individual meeting will have its own zoom link sent directly to your email/calendar for the 30-minute meeting. Everyone will have a “group leader” who is responsible for sending out calendar invites with zoom links. More info to come on groups and group leaders.
