The Leadership Academy is a professional development and training program for individuals in the field of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) whose goals are to identify, develop and support the next generation of TDM industry leaders and future leaders of the Association for Commuter Transportation.
The ACT Executive Committee will select up to twelve individuals from among ACT members who apply to participate in a year-long program that includes a combination of workshops, conferences, class leadership projects and assignments, teleconferences and online meetings, and web-based events that address the challenges, demands, opportunities and hot toplcs of our TDM field. Through these activities, the ACT Leadership Academy participants develop and refine the skills and competencies needed to succeed as leaders within ACT and in the TDM field.
The goals of the ACT Leadership Academy are integrated throughout a variety of programs, small team leadership projects, assignments, online resources, and activities uniquely designed to create a high-value learning and professional development experience.
