ACT has released its newest publication, Getting to Work, which details successful approaches to employer-sponsored commuter programs. The report spotlights five programs across the country. The featured organizations represent a wide range of sectors, including a hospital (Seattle Children’s), a public utility (Salt River Project), a federally funded research center (MITRE), and two multi-national corporations (Coca-Cola and Marriott). What they all have in common is a set of progressive values: attracting and retaining employees, improving work-life balance, achieving corporate sustainability and climate goals, and reducing transportation costs and increasing tax savings.
